The Sex Offender Officer supervises probation and parolees who are sex offenders living in Valencia County.

The Community Corrections Officer supervise probation and parolees who are considered high needs and have mental health needs living in Valencia County.

The Pre-Sentence Report Unit prepares reports (PSR) at the request of the District Court in Bernalillo, Sandoval and Valencia Counties.

The Intake Unit formerly known as the Transitional Reporting Center (TRC) is the Region’s first point of contact for orientation, assessment and assignment of adults placed under supervision of the New Mexico Corrections Department Probation/Parole Division.

Region II Standard Supervision holds 89 employees and supervises adult offenders within Bernalillo and Valencia Counties. The average caseload for these Officers is between 80 and 125 per Officer.

The Response Center is located in Region II and operates 24/7 including holidays. The Response Center supervises minimum risk probationers and parolees. Phone calls are received and vetted from law enforcement officials, victims, offenders, family and the members of the community.

The Officer supervises probationers and parolees residing in Valencia County who have been ordered to abide by sex offender specific conditions.

The Community Corrections Officer supervises probationers and parolees residing in Valencia County who are considered high needs, dual diagnosis and/or struggling with mental health needs.

The High Risk II Unit supervises probationers and parolees who require a higher level of supervision but do not necessarily meet the requirements of Intensive Supervised Programming or Community Corrections Supervision.
