Region II
Region II Standard Supervision is responsible for overseeing adult offenders in Bernalillo and Valencia counties.
Judicial districts
Region II Standard Supervision covers two New Mexico judicial districts, namely the Second (Bernalillo County) and Thirteenth (Valencia County).
Services
Region II provides a comprehensive array of programs and services to meet the diverse needs of those offenders sentenced or ordered to their supervision. These offerings encompass both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse programs, mental health counseling, domestic violence counseling, financial assistance, housing support, and various other vital services. Within Region II, the Community Corrections division plays a crucial role in supervising individuals who have been identified as having high needs. This specialized unit ensures that these individuals receive the necessary support and guidance to facilitate successful rehabilitation and reintegration into the community. Additionally, Region II includes the High Risk II Unit, which provides a heightened level of supervision for individuals who require enhanced monitoring. While these individuals may not meet the criteria for Intensive Supervised Programming or Community Corrections supervision, the High Risk II Unit is dedicated to mitigating risks and promoting public safety.
