Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility
The Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility (SNMCF) is near Las Cruces in Doña Ana County. SNMCF houses Levels 2, 3, 4, and includes a Restrictive Housing Unit (RHU). The facility was built in the early 1980s and was operational in 1983. The Level 2 facility was established in 1996. SNMCF offers educational programs and many reprogramming opportunities.
