“Breaking Bad Habits”Anti-Litter Campaign
The New Mexico Corrections Department (NMCD) is proud of its contributions to the statewide “Breaking Bad Habits” anti-litter campaign, emphasizing the importance of litter-free communities for public safety and quality of life.
To support this initiative:
• NMCD’s Probation and Parole Division organized clean-up days in its regions across the state.
• Inmate work crews, in collaboration with NMCD’s Corrections Industries and the New Mexico Department of Transportation, conduct regular clean-up activities in designated public spaces.
• Administrative staff proudly installed a birdhouse and planted a Colorado Spruce tree at Central Office in Santa Fe.
